  • R. v. T.T-M.

    Robbery and Firearm

    Client was charged with two counts of Robbery and Discharge Firearm. This matter involved allegations of a robbery where Client was accused of shooting one of the complainants. Client was positively identified by both complainants in this case. Following a 5 day trial, Client was found not guilty of all charges.

  • R.v. J.G.

    Drugs

    The client was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds, and Possession of Cannabis. After a multiple day trial, Mr. Stubbs successfully argued that the police infringed the client’s rights pursuant to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. All charges were stayed.

  • R. v. J.S.

    Drugs

    The client was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Proceeds. After a multiple day trial, the client was found not guilty and all charges were dismissed.

  • R. v. A.R.

    Aggravated Assault

    The client was charged with Aggravated Assault and Weapons Dangerous stemming from an allegation involving a stabbing. After trial, the client was found not guilty, and all charges were dismissed.

  • R. v. J.G.

    Robbery and Imitation Firearm

    The client was charged with a Home Invasion Robbery, Use Imitation Firearm, Forcible Confinement and Possession Property Obtained by Crime under $5000. Mr. Stubbs successfully argued the exclusion of a surveillance video and all charges were dismissed against the client

  • R. v. J.G.

    Drugs

    The client was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds and two counts of Fail to Comply Recognizance. After a multiple day trial, Mr. Stubbs successfully argued the exclusion of all evidence on the grounds that the Police infringed the client’s rights pursuant to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. All charges were dismissed.

  • R. v. J.S-I.

    Aggravated Assault and Firearm

    Client was charged aggravated assault, discharge firearm, and the like. Police alleged they the client was responsible for shooting someone at party. Mr. Stubbs identified significant issues with the crown’s case. In the end, client plead guilty to weapons dangerous (imitation firearm) and possession weapon contrary to prohibition order (imitation firearm). In the end, client was sentenced to a period of probation.

    Robbery and Firearm

    The client was charged with Robbery with Firearm. After a multiple day trial, the charge was dismissed against the client.
